When choosing bedding, we should avoid being fooled by fancy words. We should pay attention to the source and quality of the fabric and how it is made. Here are some suggested certification standards:
Egyptian Cotton – 100% certified authentic Egyptian cotton.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certification – This certification proves that a product has passed testing for harmful toxins and chemicals.
No plastic packaging
Many bedding products come in single-use plastic packaging. Look for sheets that are plastic-free or reduce packaging, which will be more environmentally friendly.
